Pandemic Pup

Abby came into my life during the pandemic. My sister texted me that her dog had puppies and sent me the photo of the litter, I was half joking when I picked the little gray and white pup. I had no plans to have a dog. The kid up the street had the pick of the litter and I was confident he would pick the gray pup. She was obviously the best - completely different from all the rest.

Lucky for me, he didn't.

Instant Love

The first week of February 2021 my sister called and said she was doing free puppy deliveries. She'd had enough of having a little of puppies under foot. Abby was dropped off at my house, tiny and freezing cold with one can of soft dog food.

I had no bed, no kennel, not even a blanket for her. She was terrified. And I immediately fell in love with her.
